Create a PowerPoint from Images on Mac: One Image per Slide

To put multiple images into a PowerPoint on Mac, select them in Finder and use Zipic’s images-to-PPT tool. Zipic by PangJiong creates a widescreen PPTX with one image per slide. Processing stays on your Mac, and the original images remain unchanged.

Before you start

Install Zipic from the Mac App Store and enable its Finder extension. This workflow uses the macOS app’s file tool; the result is a new PPTX presentation.

Batch images to PPTX from Finder

  1. Select the images you want in the presentation in Finder.
  2. Right-click and choose Zipic’s images-to-PPT action.
  3. Wait for processing to finish, then open the generated PPTX in presentation software.
  4. Check the slide count, image order, and appearance before sharing the presentation.

What one image per slide means

Each input image is placed on its own widescreen slide. This is useful for presenting screenshots, photos, or page images without inserting them into individual slides by hand.

An image on a slide remains an image: text inside a screenshot is not converted into editable PowerPoint text. Add titles, notes, or more complex layouts in presentation software afterward.

Starting with a PDF instead?

Use Zipic’s PDF-to-images tool first, then select the exported page images for images-to-PPT. Review the output after each step. If you only need a single document rather than slides, use images-to-PDF instead.
