Install BeeClear and Scan a Mac Disk
BeeClear is a native macOS disk review and cleanup app. Scanning and result analysis run locally. Grant access when prompted, or begin with locations already available to the app.
Download and install the PKG
- Download the latest BeeClear PKG from the official site.
- Open the package and follow the macOS Installer prompts.
- Open BeeClear from Applications.
What Full Disk Access changes
Full Disk Access lets BeeClear inspect more locations protected by macOS privacy controls, making the scan more complete. Permission does not trigger automatic deletion; every result is analyzed and cleanup still requires confirmation.
You can start in limited mode if you prefer not to grant access yet. Locations blocked by permissions cannot be fully inspected and are retained or marked as incomplete.
Choose one disk for each scan
Select an internal data volume or an external disk. BeeClear scans one selected disk at a time and does not traverse the read-only system volume or other unselected disks. Duplicate-document comparison is limited to that selected disk.
BeeClear for Mac by PangJiong
BeeClear scans and analyzes files locally. Scanning and reviewing results are free; cleaning access is a one-time purchase in the app.
